Devlog 2 - Design (Jan 30 - Feb 06)


This week, no development updates! We were mostly working on the design document and making some major decisions regarding the direction of our game.

We decided that we wanted the game to be separated into levels. However, the tutorial will be fully open so the player will be able to explore each level individually and learn the central mechanic of each level before starting the time loop.

This week:

  • Level 1 - Power Generator Level
    • Will revolve around a malfunctioning power generator and avoiding timed hazards around the room
  • Level 2 - Greenhouse Level
    • Taking an Orchid through its growth cycles in order to obtain a time core inside.
  • 3D models of the room that will be level 1 and the tutorial
  • Character 3D model
  • 2D concept art for the levels
